COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOB !,, FLORIDA
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance number 234, of the City of Okeechobee,
is hereby repealed and Section ten of Ordinance number 163
of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, is hereby amended so a s to
read as follows:
SECTION T''0: No license issued under the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be granted to a Vendor whose place of business
is or shall be w ithin FIFTEEN HUNDRED (1500) feet of an es-
tablished school or church, which distance shall be measured by
following the shortest route of ordinary pedestrian travel along
the public highway or throughway from the nearest point of said
place of business to the nearest point of the church and, in case
of a school, to the nearest point of the school grounds in use
as part of the school facilities, provided however, this Ordi-
nance shall not be construed so as to effect hotels of not less
th�an f'fty guest rooms that are located a distance more than
ert InCAMAND (0e)) feet from any established school or church.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance, are hereby expressly
repealed.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Kayor.
