BE IT ORDAINED BY THE iAYUR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEr ChOBEE, FLORIDA: Section One; All persons who desire to vote in any General, Primary or Special Election to be held in the city of Okeechobee, Florida, after August lst, 1954, shall re- register their names at the Oity H911, in a special book prepared for said purpose, on or before ten days next preceding such General, Primary or Special Election. Section Two: All persons re- registering as provided in Section One of tis Ordinance, shall be qualified electors of Okeechobee 0.0.4.14e1 Florida. SE6�IOY� `TREE: It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the city of Okeechobee, Florida, to lamp open the registration books of said city of Okeechobee, Florida on the first day of August, 1954, and keep the same open , five days each week, thereafter, the period of re- registration as provied in Section One, of this Ordinance. Section Four: Any person failing to re- register as provided in Section One, shall not be permitted to vote at any General, r'rimary or Special Election held in said city of Okeechobee, Florida. Section Five: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinance in conflict hereiwth, are hereby specifically repealed. Section Six: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage end approval of the Mayor.
