BE IT ORDAINED BY THE YOR AND THE CITY; COUNCIL OF "T E CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA: 0, SECTION 1. That the City of Okeechobee, Flprida, hereby levias tax of 20 mills on each dollar valuation of real and personal pro- .. perty within the corporate limi3s of the City of Okeec:lobee, Florida., for the year 1957; such taxes shall be assessed and collected in the nanner provided by law, PROVIDED HOWEVER, that no taxis shall be assessed against against homesteads, having a valuation of not more than $5,000.00 for the General Fund of said City. r; SECTION 2. Thst 14 mills of sue', tax be used for General City purposes and shall be assessed for' the General Fund of said City. a, That 6 mills of such tax shall be assessed for the interest and sinking fund for the payment of interest and principal of-General Refunding Bonds, Issue of 1942, of said City. SEC TTON S It shall be the duty of the Tax Collector of said City and the City Clerk of said City, to divide the proceeds receiied from said taxes as aforesaid, inte'the funds set out in Section 1 Hof, this Ordinance and keep full and correct account of same as they .•m.y be directed by the City Council. 0 SECTION '4.
