0392 (Vacating Alley)ORDINANCE NO. 392 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, DISCONTINUING AND VACATING THAT CERTAIN ALLErdAY RUNNING EAST AND WEST IN BLOCK 38, ALL BEING IN OKEE- CHOBEE CITY A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 37 SOUTH, RANGE 35 EAST, OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, an application has been received requesting the City Council to close, discontinue and vacate that certain alleyway running East and West in Block 38, all being in Okeechobee City a subdivision in Section 16, Township 37 South, Range 35 East, Okeechobee County, Florida, and whereas, Notice of public hearing to consider closing, discontinuing and vacating the above described alleyway was published in The Okeechobee News on October 21, 1976, and, whereas, said public hearing was held according to said Notice on the 9th day of November, 1976 and, whereas there were no objections to said application and it appearing to be the best interest of the City of Okeechobee to grant application NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained By The City Council of the City of Okee- chobee, Florida: Section 1. That certain alleyway running East and West between lots 1 through 13 en the North and lots 11. through 26 on the South, all in Block 38, all being in Okeechobee City a subdivision in Section 16, Township 37 South, Range 35 East, Okeechobee County, Florida, be and is hereby closed, dis- continued and vacated, subject to future installation of public utilities. Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance be recorded in the public records of Okeechobee County, Florida. Passed and adopted on this 9th day of November, 1976.
