0053 (Time Warrants)trt. ar•-• • t N_ ORDINANCE of the City of OkeechoLiee, Florida Authoriz- ing and impowering the City Council of said City of Okeechobee to issue an _Interest bearing Time Warrant for the purpose of 3uilding, ImProving, Repairing, Taintaining and extending the Water Works of said City, for Paving the streets of s,id City and for Installing, Extending and. Maintaining its Sewerage System in said City and for retiring existing indebtedness of said City and for any other City Purpose. E IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE FLORIDA.: Section I. That the City Council of the City of Okeecho- bee, Florida be and it is hereby authorized and impowered to issue an interest bearing time warrant in the sum, of Twenty Thousand Dollars (2O,000-00), payable one year from the date thereof, with interest thereon from the data thereof until paid, at the rate of seven Per cent (7) per annum, for the purpose of building, improving, repair- ing, extending and maintaining the water works of said City, for paving the streets of said City, for installing, extending and main- tain a sewerage system in said City and for retiring existing indebtedness of said City and for any other City purpose. Section 2. That said time warrant shall be in the follow- ing form, to—wit:, '720,000.00 Okeechobee, Florida, May 2nd, 1921, The City of OKEECHOBEE. FLORIDA.. a Municipal Corroration. ;And said time warrant shall be signed by the President he City Council and attested by the City Clerk and countersigned the Mayor of said City.. Cect ion 3. When said time warrant shall be issued and, elgned as provided fcr in '..-ection Tw of this ordinance the same shall be a valid and binding obligation of the City oi Okeechobee, Florida. Section 4. This shall become a legal valid. and binding ordinance of said City of Okeechobee, Florida., when passed by its City Council and approved by the Tr.ayor. President of City Council..
