0026 (Prohibiting Pool or Billiards Rooms)Oft Ordinance No F_ AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT ANY PERSON OR PERSONS KEEPING OPEN ANY POOL,BILLIARD ROOM ,TEN PIN ALLEY ROOM OR SALOON FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLAYING OR ROLLING ON SAID TABLES OR ALLEY AFTER CERTAIN HOURS OF THE NIGHT NAMING SUCH HOURS AND THE PUNISHMENT FOR A VIOLATION THEREOF. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida. Section 1 :- That it shall be unlawful for any person, or persona, to keep open any room, saloon, or any othet place, within the Limits of the City of Okeechobee,' Florida, wherein pool, billiards, or ten pins are played, or to permit any game of Pool, Billiards, or ten pins, to be played therein, after the following hours at night; on all nights of the week, not later than the hour of oelock P. M. except that on Saturday nights they can keep open tinti 1 the hour of 1,C P.M. Section 2:- That no person or persons shall be allowed to assemble or remain in any room or other place as named in section one of t #is ordinance for the purpose of playing or rolling the said games as named in section one hereof. Section 3:- That upon conviction for a violation of sections one or two of this ordinance, the person so convicted shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $100.00 or by imprisonment in jail not less than ten nor more than thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the Mayor.
