AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TEE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS, WINES AND
BEER AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR ME VIOLATION MIEREOF.
13E IT ORDAINED BY TIE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF V7, CITY OF OKFRCEOBEE,
FLORIDA:
SEC. 1. It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale or cause to
be sold or keep for sale any intoxicating liquors, wines or beer
within the City limits.
SEC. 2. The term beer as used in this ordiance shall include all
malt beer and fermented beer without regard to the percentage of
alcohol contained therein.
SEC, 3. The term intoxicating liquors as used in this ordinance
shall include cider as well RS all spirituous or other intoxicating
liquors and shall include any liquor of any kind containing any
sale
percentage of alcohol which is kept, sold or offered for mkt* for
use as a beverage or drink.
SIX. 4. It shall be unlawful for any person to have in h$s or her
possession any unreasonable quanity of intoxicating liquors, wines
or beer, and it shall not be necessary to prove a sale in order to
obtain a conviction under this section. Provided, however, that any
person may keep on his private premises a sufficient quantity for
his private use only.
SEC. 5. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more
than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for not less than
by
thirty days nor more than three months or/both such fine and imprisonment.
SEC. 6. This ardiance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
