1960-02 (Perpetual Easement)R E S O L 'J T I O N
WHEREAS, R. E. Hamrick and Annie B. Hamrick, his wife, are
the fee simple owners of that certain real property lying in the
ICity of Okeechobee, Florida, more particularly described as
f ollows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Block 161, Town of
Okeechobee, according; to plat of said Town recorded in
Plat Book 2, page 17, public records of St. Lucie County,
Florida, and run thence 'Vilest 50 feet to the East bound-
ary line of Florida East Coast Railway right of way,
thence run North along said right of way line to inter-
section with the North boundary line of Section 16,
Township 37 South, Range 35 East, thence run East 50
feet, thence run South to the point of beginning. Savin-;
and excepting the right of way of Main Line of Seaboard
Air Line Railway. Lying and being in Section 16, Town-
ship 37 South, Range 35 East; and
WHEREAS the City of Okeechobee, Florida, desires to extend a
(municipal water main across the above real property, and
VHEEEAS it is deemed to the best interest of the public to
acquire a perpetual easement to locate, construct and :maintain
said municipal water main across the above real property,
NO'du, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the above named property
owners, be and they ar•e hereby requested to grant a perpetual
easement to locate, construct and maintian a municipal water main
across the above real property, being; more particularly described
as follows:
From the Northwest Corner of Block 70, OKEECHO-EE, accord-
ing to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, page 17,
public records of St. Lucie County, Florida, run North a
distance of 40 feet to a point of beginning; thence jd'lest a
distance of 50 feet to the past right of way line of the
Seaboard Railroad Spur Track; thence North along said East
boundary a distance of 20 feet; thence Last a distance of
50 feet; thence South 20 feet to point of beginiing.
Be It Further Resolved that the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
Eby and through their City Council, accept said easement, when
granted, for the use and purpose set forth above.
