1956-04 Cancelling Unpaid Taxesadoption and upon being seconded by Councilman Harden was put to a vote and unanimously adapted; R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N, WHI']REAS, Ulmer and Pansy Ezell has made application to this Council is j V to authorize the Tax Collector of the City of Ckeechobee to cancel all city taxes heretofore levied against the property h,ereinafter described I. for the years 1926 to 1941 inclusive Lor LLC Ulla u ow"u ya„v.tQ YY I. - It ' f excluded from the municipality by Chapter 10960, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1925, and t WHEREAS, said taxes which have been assessed for the years 1926 to 1941 II inclusive constitute a cloud upon said property and this Council having given due consideration to said application, '! Y40`4 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED Taft the City Tax Collector of the City of Okeechobee be and she is hereby authorized and instructed to cancel all unpaid taxes and tax certificates issl?_ed for the years 1926 to 1941 inclusive, or any such years, and nape proper notation on the tax r olls of said city to char the following described lands of said taxes: �i The Idest 126 feet of Lot 2, Bloch b, ...acGla.shan's J.d_dition, also that part of the former but now abandoned Florida East Coast Rail,�ray right of wa-y lyi ng south of and adjacent to %gest 126 feet above descrjt,ed, said lands being more part- icularly described as follows: Beginning at the MV Corner of Lot 2, of Block B. ijacGlashan's :addition to Okeec?h.obee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 1 at Page 16, Y public records of 01<e-sch.obee Coarlty, Florida, and run East along the Forth line of said Lot 2, 126 fcet; thence run South at r_ght angles to the north line of said Lot 2, to the South boundary I ne of the former but now abandoned Florida East Coast Railroad right of way; tnnce run V1esterly along the South boundary of said r yht of way to intersection ivit'A the East Bound- ary line of Lincoln Street, as shc,m on plat of Riverside Park, Plat Book 1, Page 23, Okeechobee Countv records, thence run North along the mast line of Lincoln Street to the POB, less and except that part of said lands lying within 40 feet of the centerline of State Road No. 70 which rues East and West along the north side of above described lands.
