WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Okeechmbee,
F.1prida, sit -ting as a board of cifila—asers, nas canvassed the
-returns of the General City Election held December 5,1950, and
WHEREAS, H. H. Raulerson received the highest number of
for Mayor, and Rod Chandler, B. W. Thomas, J. M. Roo, Sr.,

'votes
Alto Watford,' Sr., and Z. k. Williams$ received the highest number
of votes for Councilmen, a nd Carlisle Thomas, Jr., received the
highest number of votes for Chief of Police, and Lorena Hilliard
Pearce, received the highest number of votes for City Clark.
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that H. H. Raularson be, and
he is hereby declared elected Mayor, that Rod Chandler,,B. W.
Thomas, J. M. RoeV Sr., Alto Watford, Sr., and Z. K. Williams be,
and they are hereby declared elected Councilmen, that Carliil*
Thomas, Jr. be, and he is hereby declared elected Chief of Police,
and that Lorana Hilliard Pearce be, and she is hereby declared
elac.ted.City Clark.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby instructed to issue and deliver certificates of election
to each of the above persons.
