WHEREAS, the city Council of the city of Ok-eechobee,
Flirida, did, on the IStti day of October, 194'-, pass
the dollowin6 resolution:
WHEREAS, UvDER TiiE Provisions of Ordinance k4o. 216,
this Council rias levied a utilitj tax for tuiie purpose of
obtainin-, funds for trie operation of the city dfvernment;

WHEHEAS, it is tne opinion of t.Le fiiembers of this
Cooncil that it will oe to the best interest of s&id City
for funds-obtainedfrom seid taxes tj be used to imDrove
the streets and parks of said City, and trie Council haviins
given due consideration, Now, THEREFURE,
BE 11� i-�$SOLVE.D by the City Council of the City of
Okeechobee) Florida, tiiat all funds realized *from tne
said Utility Tax be deposited In a- special account end
be used solely for tne improvement of streets and parks
in said City", said resolution be duly a-. - D�)roved by the
Mayor of Okeechobee, Floride, on the day and year above
stated, and
WHEREAS , THE lv2MBEhS OF Ti1E PRESENT City Council,
are of ti -.e opinion that the terms and conditions of said
Resolution, are unrea.sonable, arbitrary and unwarranted
at this time, and that all funds realized from the said
Utility Tax, as provided for in Ordinance No. 210', 212oud
