1940-03 Rules for ElectionsR E S 0 L U T 1 0 N WHEREAS� this Council is authorized to prescribe rules and regulations i for the conduction of Elections; not inconsistant with the laws of the State & of Florida, and t WHEREAS, the CounPil dooms it necessary and to the best interest of said City that an assessment be placed on all candidat'es socking election in the Goneval City Election to be held on the 3rd day of December, A. D. 1940. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that o.11 candidates seeking a City office in said General Election are hereby required to pay a qualification foe as f ollows: For Mayor -------------- $15-00 City Clerk ------------- 25-00 Councilman ------------- 5.00 Such quallification foe to bo paid on ox before the 22nd day of November, A. D. 1940 -and any person who fails to pay said fee within the time heroin specified shall not be entitled to have his or her namo pitaced on tho ballot fox said General Election to be hold on December 3rd, A.
