adoption and upon being seconded by Uounailman Walker was put to a vote and unani—
mously passA'd and adopted:
R E S, 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, this council is authorized to prescribe rules and regulations
for the conduction of elections, not inconsistant with the laws of the State of
jFlorida, and

WHEREAS, the 0ouncil dooms it noccssary and to the bonst interest of said
City that an assessment be placed on all candidates seeking election in the Qeneral "
City Election to be hold on the 6th day of December., A. D. 19381
I NOr; THZREFORE) BE IT RESOLVED that all candidiates seeking a City office
in said General Election be,' and they are hereby required to pay a qualification fee
of five dollars on or before the fifteenth day of November, A.' D. 1938. Any person
Yho fails to pay said fee within the time herein specified shall not be entitled to
have his name placed on the ballot for said General Election to be held on December
the 6th2 A. D. 1938.
PASSED and adopted this 2nd day of November, A. D. 1938.
