Unsafe Conditionsu1v The following Resolution was offered by -Councilman Brass, who moved its adop- tion, motion seconded by Councilman Brett and passed: Resolution WHEREAS, the building and/or buildings on Lot 12,.Block 13, Riverside Park Addition to Okeechobee, F16rida, is in an unsafe and unsanitary condition, and Whereas.. the building committee of the City Council of Okeechobee, Florida, has made an investiga#tto of said premises, and has reported to said City Council that thw building and/or buildings on said premises constitute a fire hazard and is a menaceA to the health and safety of the citizens of siad City, and, .1 4 A x,, Whereas, the said building committee of said City of Okeechobee has recommended to the said City Council that the said buildings herein referred to be condemned. Therefore be it resolved by the City Council of Okeechobee Florida, that the buildings on the property, that is to say, on Lot 12, Block 13, V Riverside Park 'Addition to Okeechobee, Florida, be and the same are hereby declared to be a menace to the health of the citizens of Okeechobee, Florida, and also constitute a danger- ous fire'hazard to the property in said City. Be it further resolved'that the building and/or buildings on said lot be and the same is hereby condemned as provided by law. Be it further resolved that if the owner or owners of said buildingh and/or buildings do not remove or repair the same, instanter, after due notice hereof, that said City do proceed to destroy the same.
