RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, It has been made to appear that'the buildings on Lots Seven and Ei
(8), Block 149, City of Okeechobee, Florida, are in a bad state of repairs, and
WHEREAS, upon investigation properly made, the City Council of Okeechobee,
Florida, finds that the said buildings are in such condition as to constitute a
gerous fire hazard and are a menace to the aeneral health and safety of the citi
of said City; and
WHEREAS the owner of said buildings, to -wit: The Standard Fisheries, a Coi
ation, has been properly and legally notified to place said buildings in a f air
of repairA which would render the said buildings.safe and sanitary, but that saj
owner has
refused
and
still refuses
so to
do.

IT RESOLVED,

the buildings on the property hereinbefore described, be and the saae are hereb�
demned, as provided by statute in such cascs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that unless said buildings are disposed of by said
owners in such a manner as agreed to by said City Council, on or before the 15tl
of May, A. D. 1934, then said City Council will proceed to demolish Gand/or dest:
said building , without further notice to said owner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution'-befurnished the Gai(
owner) by mailing said copy to its office in Jacksonville, Duval County, Floridi
