1947-01 To Vacate PlatMai& 3.79 1947 The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular adjou3 session at the City Hall at 7:30 P. M. on the above date with the following present; Mayor H. H. Raulerson, President Williams,, Councilmen Brette., Thomas and Watford witl G. C. Durranoe, City Attorney and Lcrena Pearce, City Clerk. The following Resolution was presented by Councilman Watford who moved itE -:A,option and upon being seconded was put to a vote and was unanimously adopteds RESOLUTI ON WHEMAS, Rachel F. Crozier and Cornelia Crozier, have filed a petition with the Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, requesting that the 1!3nds included in"OROZIERIS WOODLAWN PAW, a subdivioion-lying wholly within the limits of said City of Okeechobee, be restored to acreage, and that the said Platl be vaca6d for said purpose, and, WERZA81, it appears from said petition, that all Stateg Goimty and City taxes have been paid, including the c -Lw - rent year- that all of the lots and/or land embraced in said Plat9 are owned by the said petitioners, and that due notice of this petition has been made according to the statutes in such cases made and provided and that all thing required of said petitioners has been fully complied with., therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, in regular adjourned session, assembled, that . the Plat of "CROZIER'S WOODLAWN PARKIt filed and recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page 22, Records 'of Okeechobee County, Florida, be and the*same Is hereby Vacated, and set aside as provided in Section 192.29, Compiled Laws of Florida, 1941, and that the lands embraced therein., be restored to eareaga, for the purpose of taxation* Provided, however, that the t , wo streets traversing said la�id and now being uoed by the Public7 shall not be affected by the provisions 'of this resolution, and shall remain open for use by the public, according to the terms and agreement contained in the petition filed herein.
