1932-03 Removal of condemned buildingsion, motion seconded by Councilman J. I H. Walker, Sr. and passed:

WHEREAS, the City Attoorai�� was -instructed by this Council of Lot 10P of Block
y
164 and Lot 10 of Block 165 in- the City' of Okeechobee that the buildings located
on said property were dangerous to traffic and considered serious fire.hazards
and that unless said owners repaired said buildings immediately or removed same
that this Council would order same condemned within thirty days, and
WHEREASP the City Attorney 7gas advised this Council that due and proper notice
was served 04 the owner of Lot -10, Block 164 and that a notice to the owners of
Lot 10J. Block 165 was returned undelivered; that since said notice was returned
the -owners of said property last above mentioned stated orally that they would not
repair said buildings and had no objection to same being removed, free of cost to
th em.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Councilof the Oity of Okeechobee,
Florida, that said buildings be, and the swne are hereby condemned and the City
Inspector is hereby authorized and instructed to have said buildings removed immed-
iately.
