RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida sitting as a
canvassing baard has canvassed the'returns of the General City Election held
December 4th; A. D. 1928, and
WHEREAS, - from said canvass it is found that J. Denhan Bird received the high-
est nunber of votes for Mayor, and
WHEREAS, Albert Berka, H. L. 01-i-andler, Don P. Johnston, S. R. Raifsnider
and Ben Walker received the highest number of votes for City Councilmen, and
WHEREAS) R. P. Fletcher received the highest number of votes for City Clerk,
Now,Therefore;
BE IT, RESOLVED that J. Denham Bird be a -Lid is hereby declared elected Mayor,
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that Albert Berka, H. L. Chandler, Don P. Johnston,
S. R. Raifsnider and Ben Walker be wad they are hereby declared elected Councilmen
