1928-04 Agrmt w/FEC for crossingUpon motion duly made and seconded the. following resolution was unanimously
adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Okeechobeej Florida;
1. That the City of Okeechobee, Florida, a municipal corporation of the
State of Florida, does hereby contract and agree to enter into an agreement with
the Florida East Coast Railway Company, a, corporation, wherein and whereby said
City of Okeechobee is granted the right and privilege to use ELs 11 easement for
-crossing purposes only, q� strip of land, thirty (30) feet in vidth east and west
eet in length north and south across the right-of-way and
by one hundred (100�`.f,
over the track of the said Railway Company at East Okeechobee, Florida, the center
line of the said strip of land crossing the center line of saJ.d Railway Company's
i r Okeechobee Branch. main track at a point four thousand eight hundred thirty-two,
and five -tenths (4832-5) feet easterly from said Railway Company's Mile Post 0139
on the Okeechobee Branch, all as more fully described and accordilLg to the further
terms and conditions au contained in a true copy of the proposed agreement hereto
attached and made apaxt hereof.
2.That the May6r, with the attestation of the City Clerk, be and they are
hereby directed to exeo*ite said contract for and on beha.1f of said, City of Okee-
chobee,* Florida.
3 -That this -J�es/cluticn shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
On motion of Councilman Berka, seconded by Councilman Walker Council author—
ized Water Superintendert to purchase one oar of rook and 300 gallons of asphal�
from F. W." Long & Co.
