R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
BE IT RESOLVED that for a period of five years
from January let, A. D. 1939, all canning plants engaged
primarily during said period in the canning of fruits, fruit
juices, and. vegetables, shall be exempt from all taxes levied
by the City of Okeechobee.
The exemption herein authorized shall not apply to
real estate owned and used by such canning �lants except the
P
real estate occupied as the location required to house such
canning plants and the buildings and property situated thereon,
together with such lands, adjoining thereto, as may be
required for warehouses and storage facilities and being
used for such purposes.
