on motion of Councilman H. 0. Adams seconded by Coun-
oilman Albert Berka the following reqolution was introduced ana"'4�
adopted by unanimous vote -of the members presenV
Resolved, That whereas the Florida East Coast Railway
Company has made application to the City Council,, that they wish
to extend their line of railroad from here South to Miami, and
that it is very necessary that they cross certain streets of the
City of Okeechobee, hereinafter named with their tracks to en
able them to pass through the City. and that they wish permission
from the City to cross the following streets with their said
tracks: Cherokee' , Street South of South Park Street, Hiwassee
Street betweet North Park Street and South Park Street,also South
-and Cherokee Streets.

.Therefore Be It Resolved By the Cit�*Oouncil,of.the
City of Okeechobee., Florida that permission is.hereby given
tli� FloAda East Coast Railway Company the right to cross with
their tracks and to maintain the same after oonstructe(i 'the
following named streets: Cherokee Street South of South Park
Strbet, Hiwassee Street between North Park Street arid' South'-�
Park Street, also South Park Street between Hiwassee and Cher-
okee.Streets, in making the extension of their line through the
City of Okeechobee, keeping proper crossings over said tracks.
This resolution to become effective when signed by
the Mayor.
