1921-02 Millage,Appro.ved this the - 21st, day of March, A. D. 1921. D. E. Austin 7�yor of the City of Okeechobee, Florida. The following resolution was offered by Councilman J. S. Go Adams Yea None voted Nay. RESOLUTION The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman J. S. Underhill, seconded by Councilman H. C. Adams,* tWEEIMAS The City Council 'has by resolution, authorized the issuance of J4.3,000.00 in City of Okeech@bee Time Warrants for the purpose of paving, macadamizing or otherwise improving certain avenues and streets or parts thereof of said city, and as autho- rixed under Chapter No.8320, Acts of the Legislature. at its session A.D. 1919. Therefore Be it Resolved That the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, State of Florida, does hereby levy a tax of 5 mills upon the dollar or such an additional amount as may be - necessary e4oh and every year there- &ifdir'for the purpose of the payment of said Time Warrants and, LAtorest thereon, upon all real and personal property within the Cjty��of Okeechobee, liable to taxation, annually, and to provide Fund for retiring said Time Warrants, as they may become tio; . 0 ding to .0d -paybble. and that the same is to be deposited accor 1**;!'.ana !he City Tax Assessor of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, iw..b�rqby instruoted and required to assess upon all taxable real and,jersonal property within the City of Okeechobee, subject to taxition, the aforesaid millage, and the Tax Collector of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, is -hereby instructed and reqgired to oo.11ect -same as required by law, and to deposit the same according to ti In the depository as named by tbe.City Council as.City Depository. ..,Be.
