City Clerk requested setting up a Friday, 5:00 P.M. cut off time for Agenga
items.
Councilman Burk moved to adopt an Agenda cut off time of Friday, 5:00 P.M.,
for the meetings on the following Tuesday, effective immediately, seconded by
Councilman Chapman, vote carried.

Clerk Thomas reported on the Seminar she attended in Boca Raton.

Councilmen Oakland Chapman, Jim Knight, Donald Burk and Lytle Raulerson
were present.
Others present were: David Conlon, City Attorney; Bonnie S. Thomas, City
Clerk~and Dr. Ernest Bartley, Plan Consultant.

Dr. ERnest Bartley, Consultant, Urban, Planning and Zoning of Gainesville,
Florida, led the discussion outlining steps toward a completed comprehensive
plan for the City of Okeechobee as follows:

Dr. Bartley ended the session with a request to the City Clerk that copies
of the materials to date be distributed to the Council members and City Attorney
for study.
The Council discussed the problems facing the City at present consisting of
a large work load and the pending suit over Federal Revenue Sharing. It was sug-
gested that a request for a year's extension on the Comprehensive Plan was in
order.
The Council instructed the City Attorney to inquire into this possibility
and report his findings at a later date.
ADJOURNMENT
This being a workshop for the specific purpose of Comprehensive Plan study,
and that being completed for this period, the meeting was Recessed at 8:00 P.M.,
until December 6, 1979.

The salary of Mr. Don Wells, part-time building inspector, was brought before
