SUBJ: Proposed Changes to Rules 9J-5 and 9J-11, F.A.C.
The Department is accepting written comments and suggestions
on the proposed changes to Rule 9J-5, F.A.C. , (The Minimum
Criteria Rule For Review of Local Government Comprehensive Plans
and Plan Amendments) , and proposed changes to Rule 9J-11, F.A.C. ,
(The Procedural Rule for Review of Local Government Comprehensive
Plans and Amendments) . These changes address new statutory
requirements of Sections 163 . 3177, 163 . 3179, 163 . 3184 , 163. 3187 ,
163 . 3189 and 163 . 3191 of the Florida Statutes.
If you would like to review and make comments or suggestions
on the proposed Rule 9J-5 and 9J-11 changes, please request a copy
from Mr. John Barker. Questions concerning the content of Rule
9J-5, should be directed to Mr. Paul F. Noll. Questions
concerning the content of Rule 9J-11, should be directed to
Ms. Marnese Mosley. All three may be reached at the Department
of Community Affairs, Bureau of Local Planning, 2740 Centerview
Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2100, telephone (904) 487-4545.
Please submit your written comments and suggestions on the
proposed changes to the Bureau of Local Planning no later than
April 30, 1993 .
After receipt of comments, the Department will determine
whether to have additional informal workshops or initiate the
formal rulemaking process by publishing the proposed rule
revisions in the Florida Administrative Weekly and holding
formal public hearings.
