RE: CITYICOUNI'Y COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LITIGATION
Dear John:
Thank you for your correspondence dated June 28, 1993, hi reference to the above
mentioned matter.
The vote by the Board of County Commissioners to approve the settlement language was
a gesture of good faith and a demonstration of their willingness to settle the pending
litigation by making substantial changes to the present plan.
We certainly understand your desire to have a final review of the document, but question
the need for "important" changes. If you will recall, all language revisions to the draft were
the result of our joint discussions, including many of the phrases which were inserted were
at your suggestion.
The County looks forward to the results of your final review and trusts that any changes will
be grammatical rather than substantive deviations from the consensus achieved on June 17,
1993.
With kindest regards, I am
Sincerely,
cy41Tohn . Cassels, Jr.
