City of Okeechobee, DOAH Case No. 91-5962GM; DCA Docket No. 90-NOI-4702-(N) ; Dear John: I am please to inform you that this afternoon the Secretary of the Department of Administration faxed me a copy of an executed Final Order Closing File in the above-referenced case. (A copy of the Final Order in attached for your convenience. ) On September 11, 1992, the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) entered an order relinquishing jurisdiction to the Administration Commission. The DOAH order recognized that the City' s plan "as adopted by Ordinance No. 635 on March 19, 1991, is ' in compliance' as defined in Section 163 . 3148( 1) (b) , F.S . " and that "no sanctions be imposed on the City related to this matter" . The Administration Commission' s final order closes the Commission' s file and dismisses the petition which the Department of Community Affairs filed against the City on September 19 , 1991 . Therefore, the City' s Comprehensive Plan is in full compliance with Florida ' s Growth Management Act and, assuming no notice of appeal is filed by any party on or before November 16, 1992 , the above-referenced case will be over. It has been a pleasure representing the City on this matter. With best personal regards, I am Sincerely, OkULNA. -4,0 Michael Wm. Morell MWM:mm cc. John Cook, City Attorney
