Code Officer Sterling testified property owner, Wanda Page, received notice of violation/notice of hearing by certified mail.
Mr. Sterling reminded the board this case was postponed at the last meeting to allow the property owner's daughter, Ms. Pryor,
time to sell the property for her mother who is in a nursing home in St. Petersburg, FL (Leroy Page is deceased). However, the
proposed buyer decided not to purchase the property. Therefore, Ms. Pryor is in the process of contracting someone to mow
and clean the property. Member Huckabee moved, based on the testimony of Code Officer Sterling, to postpone Case 11-127,
Leroy & Wanda Page at 803 NW 11"' Street, until the next regularly scheduled meeting; seconded by Member Sweda.

Code Officer Sterling testified notice of violation/notice of hearing was received by certified mail. He stated he had been in
contact with Samantha at Eli's Western Wear she said the sign face had been ordered in February. However, as of this date
the sign has not been repaired and he has not heard anything further from Eli's. Member Denisuk moved to find Case 12-009
Eli's Western Wear, Inc. at 907 NW Park Street in violation of Ch 90 Sec 90-565 Sign Maintenance, based on the testimony
of Code Officer Sterling, allowing fourteen days from May 8, 2012 to produce a work order for sign repair, if the work order
is not provided by that time a fifty dollar per day fine would commence upon proper notification, if the work order is provided the
property owner will have sixty days to make repairs, if repairs are not completed within the sixty days a fifty dollar per day fine
would be imposed on the sixty first day; seconded by Member Close.

Case No. 12-020 Code Officer Sterling testified the certified notice of violation/notice of hearing was sent to Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage
Pablo & Yanet Rodriguez. 1120 SE 2 1 ' Street Company since the property is in foreclosure. Mr. Sterling stated the property is overgrown and needs to be cleaned, When
Ch 30 Sec 30-43 Public nuisance he tried to contact the mortgage company, he found out Taylor, Bean & Whitaker is no longer in business. Attorney Cook
Ch 30 Sec 3044 General cleaning & beautification advised the Code Board until the property is sold in the auction held at the Okeechobee Courthouse, the legal property owners,
Pablo & Yanet Rodriguez, have to be notified of the violation. Member Huckabee moved, based on the testimony of Code
Officer Sterling to postpone Case 12-020, Pablo & Yanet Rodriguez of 1120 SE 21' Street until the next regularly scheduled
meeting; seconded by Member Douglas.
