Code Officer Sterling testified notice of violation/notice of hearing was posted on the property. He said he got a call from the
property owner, Linda Foley, this morning. Ms. Foley stated she had been sick for a month but was now in the process of
cleaning the property. Mr. Sterling informed the board this property was cited for violations in the past, but was always cleaned
before a fine started . He said Ms. Foley does not actually live in the house, she allows her brother to live there. Ms. Foley
told the Code Officer she would talk to her brother about keeping the property clean. Mr. Sterling added as of today when he
inspected the property it was about half done. Member Huckabee moved to find Case 02-006, Linda Foley, 805 SW 11'h
Avenue, in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-43 Public nuisance and Sec 30-44 General cleaning and beautification, based on the
testimony of Code Officer Sterling, imposing a fine of fifty dollars per day beginning March 14, 2012 if not in compliance by that
date; seconded by Member Pippin.
