Disposition of Cases presented by Code Officer Sterling : No.10-067 Kimberly Anderson. 817 SE 8' Street Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning & beautification No. 10-092 James George. 900 Blk NW 101h Street Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning & beautification Code Officer Sterling testified Notice of Violation was received by certified mail and Notice of Hearing was posted on the property for overgrown grass and yard debris. Mr. Sterling stated the property owner had contacted him saying the property was in foreclosure. However, Chase Home Finance has not filed the foreclosure and the property is still in the name of Kimberly Anderson, Member Close moved to find Case 10-067, Kimberly Anderson, in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning and beautification based on the testimony of Code Officer Sterling, imposing a twenty-five dollar per day fine beginning five days after receipt of proper notification; seconded by Member Pippin. VOTE GAMIOTEA - YES IRBY - ABSENT CLOSE YES DOUGLAS - YES HUCKABEE - ABSENT PIPPIN - YES SWEDA - ABSENT MOTION CARRIED. Code Officer Sterling testified he was unable to make contact with the property owner, James George. Certified notices were returned, therefore property was posted with Notice of Violation/Hearing for general cleaning and beautification. Mr. Sterling added he had received a complaint from a neighbor about the overgrown grass. Member Douglas moved to find Case 10-092, James George, in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning and beautification based on the testimony of Code Officer Sterling, imposing a twenty-five dollar per day fine beginning five days after proper notification; seconded by Member Pippin. However the Notice of Hearing Marguerite Donofrio. 400 SE 10" Avenue was never received, therefore property was posted for overgrown grass. Mr. Sterling stated in the past she had kept it mowed Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning & beautification but now it is overgrown and he was unable to make contact with the owner to see if there is a problem. Member Close moved to find Case 10-096, Marguerite D'onofrio in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General cleaning and beautification based on the testimony of Code Officer Sterling, imposing a twenty-five dollar per day fine beginning five days after proper notification; seconded by Member Pippin. VOTE GAMIOTEA - YES IRBY - ABSENT CLOSE - YES DOUGLAS - YES HUCKABEE - ABSENT PIPPIN - YES SWEDA - ABSENT MOTION CARRIED. No. 10-097 Code Officer Sterling testified Notice of Violation and Notice of Hearing were received by certified mail and signed for by Kurt Kurt & Jacqueline Keplinger. 405 NE 9`h Avenue Keplinger. However, nothing has been done to remove the disabled vehicle or clean up the property. Member Douglas moved Ch 30 Sec 3044 General cleaning & beautification to find Case 10-097, Kurt & Jacqueline Keplinger in violation of Ch 30 Sec 3044 General cleaning and Sec 3041Disabled vehicle based on the testimony of Code Officer Sterling, imposing a fine of twenty-five dollars per day beginning five days after proper notification; seconded by Member Close.
