Consider requests for recommendation to City Council to amend the City's Land Development Regulations for uses for the Commercial Zoning Districts regarding store front churches - Planning Consultant. DECEMBER 16, 2010 - PLANNING BOARD /BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS - PAGE 2 OF 3 35 I ACTION - DISCUSSION - VOTE Mr. Brisson presented the LaRue Planning Staff report to the Board, explaining the past use of jewelry store. Mr. Brisson also stated the use is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. The Board expressed concern over parking cars on the grass as well as storm water retention if paved. The Technical Review Committee will determine parking and driveway use, as well as storm water retention at the time of site plan review. The Board also expressed concern over site presentation with regard to location being one of the main thoroughfares of the City. The applicant was not present. Member Burroughs moved to approve Petition No. 10- 005 -SE to allow a Outdoor Vehicle Sales Lot within a Heavy Commercial (CHV) Zoning district. Ref. Sec. 90- 283(18) for property located at 820 NW Park Street subject to site plan review regarding landscaping and paving for parking lot; seconded by Member Morgan. There was no discussion.
