0646 ElectionsNow, therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Okeechobee Florida as follows:
SECTION I: Article III, Section 11 of the Charter of the City
of Okeechobee is hereby amended to read as follows:
In all municipal elections, whether general or special,
all persons who desire to be and become candidates
qualify with the city clerk not more than thirty (30)
forty -five (45) days, nor no less than fiftccn (15)
thirty -five (3 5) days before p rior to such election and
upon being duly qualified shall be entitled to have his
name placed on the ballot at any such election.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon it
adoption.

16th day of June 1992.
