The ~ity Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, net in reg~lar adjourned session at
the City Hall on the above date at 5:00 P. M. with the following present: Mayor Mack, President Pro-Tern
N~t, Councilmen ?arker,~or~, War.Cord and Yeilding with Attorney Hendry and Clerk Spivey.
Councilman ?arkerson discussed the removal of lumber stored in jail over cells. The Council
agreed that it should be removed aud stored elsewhere. Matter refe, rred to Councilman ?arkerson.
CounciLman Yeilding reported on sign post located on Parrott Avenue, State Road R~ near
?nd Street South Okeec~o~ee. At~ey Hendry to contact State Road Department regarding matter.
CounciLman YeilSing moved to trLm hedge and remove dead tree on 2nd Street R/W South Okeechobee,
seconded ~y Councilman ?ar~erson and carried.
M~yor M~ck reported the approximate cost of $1~.OO for light at youth recreation center. Council-
~an Yeilding moved to pay for light seconded by Councilman Watford and carried~
Bicycle riding on sidewalk~ discussed. Attorney Hendry to search for Ordinance.
Having been postponed at meeting ~ugust i the matter of a slaughter house being built on
p~,koerty of H~n'm~n Nisson was discussed. Attorney Hendry requested to write Mr. Nisson letter regardLug
r~atter.
Councilman Yeilding moved to place an order for three one inch meters seconded by Councilman
Parkerson and carried.
A discu.~sion was heard on hogs being kept within city limits.
