Florida met in special session at 7.30 o'clock p. m..on. the above, date an~ th~ following,~ere present:- H. H. DeYarman, President, .Oouncilmen H. T. Bass, H. H. Hanoock, Alb~rt Be~ka and J..D..Bir~ with R.. P.,Fletcher, Clerk, L. W. Jennings and B. L. Jennings, Jr., City Attorneys and Wm.^~lins, Chief of Police in attendance. . President DeYarma~~he meeting had been called for . the purpose of designating depositories for the new tax funds as created by the 1924 tax levy. Mo~lon was made by O~o~lman Berka that City Tax Collector be instructed to deposit the Interest & Sinking 1924 Bond Fund. in, . . the Peoples ~.and the Publioity Fund and Fire Protection Fund ~n the Bank of Okeeohobee, and said motion was seconded by Ooun- oilman Bass and passed. - City Engineer Lawrènoe made report of routes for grading streets fo~m Primitive Baptist Church and sewer line from North Curve and Cherokee'tStreets. Motion was made by Councilman Bird, secon4ed by Councilman Bass that Council close North Oarve Street from Parrott Avenue to Seventh . . to Okeechobee Company . Street and that City give quit claim deed to same/provided that Okeeohobee Company deeds same to the Womans Olubof Okeeohobee. Motion pass_d.
