"BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OXEE-

Section 1. That the City of Okeechobee# Florida hereby levy a
tax òf thirtY. (30) mills on each dollar valuation of real and per~ .
sonal proper~ within the corporate limi's of the City of Okeecho-
bee, "Florida, subject to taxation the first day of January A. D. 1924.
Such tax to be assessed and collected in the manner provided by law.
Section II. That thirteen (13) mills of such tax shall be used
for general City purposes; that five (5) mills of such tax shall
be used for fire protection; that two and one-half (2l) . mills of
such 'tax be used for an interest and sinking paving bond fund; that
one (1) mill of such tax be used for a publicity fund; that one (¡)
mill "of such tax be used for a Park Fund; that six and one-half(Gt)
mills of such tax be used for an interest and sinking fund for
Bond "issue of 1924; that one Ú) mill of such tax be used for an
interest and sinking Water Works Bond Fund.
Section III. It shalJ, be the duty of the. Oi ty Tax Ooliector
and City Clerk to divide.the proceeds received from said tax8s
into various funds as set out above and keep account thereof as
may be directed by the Kayor and City Council. '

'Section IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immeC;iately after its paèsage and ~pproval by the Ma.yor~
Read a first time, read a èecond time, both times Qy'~nimous
consènt and passed to a third reading and påssed in open session
