At this time, we require both the City and County to review the lists and return them to us with notes addressing such items as additions, deletions, modifications, or general comments, and /or questions. To assist your review of the list of utility assets, I offer the following explanatory comments: 1. The list is segmented into three (3) categories: utility sites, utility plant, and utility equipment 2. The utility site list identifies the sites, their size, and the interest to be appraised. Reference documents include source references, area calculations, and location sketches. Interests appraised and size breakouts are based upon current and proposed site usage, with engineering input 3. The utility plant list, including distribution and collection systems, is segregated into major components and their locations. Please review the summary location maps as to your agreement of the areas served by the identified line locations. These lists are based on our examination of finance records and inventory cards, our interviews with supervisory staff, and our on -site inspections. Please review closely for proper categorization, and any non -listed equipment items which you feel should be added. 5. As supplies are typically expense items, no inventory of these materials has been accomplished, nor is one anticipated as part of this appraisal. If you believe some of these items should be included in the equipment or plant lists, these need to be identified at this time. Please mark up the draft originals with your comments or questions and return them to us. We will revise the drafts and return them to you for your concurrence as to the descriptive subject matter of the utility appraisal. Until we receive your comments, we will proceed under the assumption that the lists are substantially complete, and that any omission or inclusion [in error] is of a minor nature.
