Fortner, Jr. Okeechobee Beach Water Association 8840 FL 78 West Okeechobee, Florida 34974 -9787 Re: Additional information requested for wholesale water bills for April, May, and June, 1992 Dear Mr. Fortner: September 29, 1992 Please find enclosed additional information requested for these bills, itemized as follows: 1. Copies of telephone bills, with appropriate charges marked. 2. Copies of computer generated summaries of Repair and Maintenance costs. Most of these are self explanatory. As before we have notated unusual items, and have provided itemized invoices for the more costly items. We will be glad to provide documentation for the smaller items, if needed. 3. Copy of the Southern Analytical invoice for the month of May. 4. Copy of the Reese -Macon invoice for the month of June. Note that the Repair and Maintenance costs for the month of June include $7,480.69 for replacement of Finished Water Pump #3. As #3 pump is manifolded with the OBWA pumps, and provides valuable "back -up" service to OBWA customers, we have included this expense in calculating the cost per gallon for that month. Please advise us if you require further justification for this. In any event, major repair /replacement costs for this pump occur infrequently. The single Reese -Macon invoice is for engineering services during rehabilitation of the existing Surface Water Plant. Note that this is the final billing on this project, and that these modifications have resulted in significant savings for OBWA and for the City. Please contact us if we can provide further information. cc: John Drago, City Administrator Sincerely, Ben Loftin Director of Public Utilities
