cation published at Baltimore Md.. forthe purchase of City of Okee-
chobee Time Warrants to be held at two P. M. )londay May 12th 1924;
the City to reserve the right to reject any an~ all bids.
The question be~ng put upon adoption and resolution the vote

Kayol: Conely stated that he had called the special meeting
of the Council to consider matters pertaining to the sanitary
conditions in the Oity~'
Kr.Lynch, repr.senting, the State Board of Health addressed
the Oounoil relative to certain ordinances which he recommended
that the Council adopt.

Dr. Weyrioh of the State Board of Heã&th addressed the Council
relative to public health matters.

i Motion was made by Councilman Berka, seconded by Councilman

Bird and carried that Council pay bill of Okeechobee Lumber Company
lIS in the sum of $93~Ol for lumber used on sewer li11e and building
bridge across ditch onr,oad to, Cypress quarters. .
Resignation of Dr. H. D. Smith as City Health Officer was re- I

'res~gnation of Dr. H. D. Smith. as City Health Officer and said.
motion was seconded by Councilman Bass and carried by unanimous vote.
Upon motion duly seconded and' carried the Clerk was authoriz6d
I to draw voucher for $20.00 in favor of R. E. McLaughlin in payment
of rent of City Hall for month of Maröh.
Building permit was ordered issued to Will Heard.
Upoa motion duly seponded and carried. the Council adjourned.
