GENERAL FUND ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1997 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,1998; WHICH AMENDED BUDGET SETS
FORTH GENERAL FUND REVENUES OF $5,750,998. AND
EXPENDITURES OF $3,034,234. LEAVING A FUND BALANCE OF
$2,716,764.; PUBLIC FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT FUND REVENUES OF
$1,508,765. AND EXPENDITURES OF $923,882. LEAVING A FUND
BALANCE OF $584,873.; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:

The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, after having held a public
hearing on the amended annual budget, including General Fund, and Public Facilities
Improvement Fund, as fully set forth below, for the City of Okeechobee for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1997 and ending September 30, 1998.

Ad Valorem Taxes 4.94 Millage 752,900.
Other Taxes (Ins. Prem.Tax, Utility Taxes, Franchise Fees Occ. Lic. Fee) 887,022.
Intergovernmental Revenue 733,800.

Fines, Forfeitures and Penalties 29,000.
Uses of Money and Property 160,000.
