0730 RezoningAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF OKEECHOBEE BY REZONING A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, FROM RSF, RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO CHV, HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, .AMENDING THE ZONING MAP ACCORDINGLY, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida has adopted Ordinance Number: 402 in which a revised Official Zoning Map was adopted for said City; and WHEREAS, the owner of the property more particularly described hereafter, has heretofore filed a petition pursuant to the Land Development Regulations of the City of Okeechobee for the purpose of rezoning a certain tract of land consisting of 0.41 acre(s) from Residential Single Family (RSF) District to Heavy Commercial (CHV) District and that this request be removed from the boundaries of the above mentioned zone to allow for the processing of the rezoning application; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds such rezoning consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and deems it in the best interest of the inhabitants of said City to amend aforesaid revised Zoning Map as hereinafter set forth: Now THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida that: SECTION 1. LEGAL DESCRIPTION ORDINANCE No. 730 The following described land, located in the City of Okeechobee, to- wit: From a point of 4.5 feet South of the 1/4 Section Corner of East boundary of Section 21, Township 37 South, Range 35 East, run West parallel to the 1/4 Section line of said Section 21 a distance of 164.9 feet for a point of beginning: From said Point of Beginning run West 190 feet to a point on the East right of way line of Parrott Avenue, thence run south along the East boundary of Parrott Avenue 95.6 feet; thence run East 190 feet, more or Tess, to East boundary of Section 21, thence run North along East boundary of Section 21, 95.6 feet to the point of beginning. All of said land being in Section 21, Township 37 South, Range 35 East. SECTION 2. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT That the aforesaid Revised Zoning Map of the City of Okeechobee be amended accordingly. SECTION 3. CONFLICT All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Page 1 of 2 1999. ATTEST; SECTION 4. SEVERABILITY SECTION 5.
