K. on the above date and the following were present: H. H. DeYarman, President, 0 ouno ilmen H. T. 'Bass, Albert Berka and F. W. Hampton with R. P. Fletcher, Clerk, L. W. Jen- n1ngs and B. L. Jennings Jr., City Attorneys in attendance. Minutes of meeting held January 18th were-read and approved. A communication from Kr. D. R. MoNei11"""'" relative to sewer connections with his residence was read and filed. ~ Jlotion was made by Councilman Berka that the Council grant J D. R. McNeill permission to lay a sewer pipe across Eighth Street. , '" to connect his residence with the sewer line between North Park t Street and Eighth Street, and said motion was seconded by Ooun- . ' 01lman Hampton and passed by unanimous vote. Motion Was made by Councilman Bass, seconded by Councilman Hampton,and duly carried that the Council allow Krs.O. L. Haskill . . widow's exemption of .500.00 on her 1923 taxes. The resignation of Councilman H. O. Adams as a member of tåe City Council was read and ordered filed. . Motion was made by Councilman Bass, seconded by Councilman Hampton that ooun,il accept t1& resignation of Kr. H. O. Adams as a member-of. the City Council, and said motion was carried by unanimous vote.
