AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA; AMENDING APPENDIX A BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE WHICH ESTABLISHES ZONING REGULATIONS AND
PROVIDES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF:
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE CLASSIFICTION OF SPECIFIED LAND FROM
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY TO RG-2.
WHEREAS, application has been duly-made to change the zoning classification
as hereinstated, and
WHEREAS, all public notices have been duly published according to law, and
WHEREAS, public hearing have been held as required by Appendix A, the
comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Okeechobee and further after con-
sideration of the public's interest it is deemed to be in the best interest of
the City of Okeechobee to change the zoning classification of the land lying
within the limits of the City of Okeechobee as herein stated; now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That the following described real property is hereby rezoned from
Residential Sle.Familyto_.RG-2.
DESCRIBED AS Lots 1,2 and 3, of Block 251, FIRST ADDITION TO OKEECHOBEE, according to the plat thereof
recorded in plat book 2, page 26, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida,
and that part of the abandoned Florida East Coast Railroad right of way and that
part of North Curve STreet and South Curve Street, now abandoned, lying between
the West line of Block 251 extended North to the South line of 3rd Street and the
West side of Okeechobee Avenue, according to the plat thereof recorded in plat
book 2, page 17, and FIRST ADDITION TO OKEECHOBEE, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 2, page 26 public records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
SUBJECT to restrictions, reservations and easements of record, if any.
SECTION II: That the application requesting this zoning change and proof of
publication for all public hearings in connection herewith shall
be attached to and become a part of this ordinance.
SECTION III: The Zoning Administrator shall make the appropriate change on the
City's zoning map in accordance with this ordinance.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
Introduced on first reading and set for second and final public hearing on this
4th day of June 1985
