0564 Code Enforcement BoardORDINANCE NO.: 564 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE II, SECTION 2- 17 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, WHICH SECTION SETS FORTH THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD: ADDING JURISDICTION TO HEAR AND DECIDE APPEALS OF THE DECISION, OR DETERMINIATION OF THE FIRE OFFICIAL IN THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE CITY FIRE PREVENTION CODE: PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Chapter 2, Article II, Section 2-17, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Okeechobe is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2-17. Violations over which board has jurisdiction. (a) The code enforcement board shall enforce and have jurisdiction of the following provisions of this Code of Ordinances: Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages. Chapter 4, Animals and Fowl. Chapter 7, Article II, Fire Prevention. Chapter 8, Garbage and Trash. Chapter 9, Health and Sanitation. Chapter 10, Licenses and Business Regulations. Chapter 11, Offenses-Miscellaneous. Chapter 14, Subdivisions, and the subdivision ordinance there referred to. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
