AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PETITION FOR
VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF PARCEL "C" LYING
IN AND COMPRISING A PART OF SECTION 27,
TOWNSHIP 37 SOUTH, RANGE 35 EAST, OKEECHOBEE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Petition for Voluntary Annexation
filed by the owners of the following described real
property located in the unincorporated area of the
County of Okeechobee, Florida, to-wit:
PARCEL "C": South one-half of Southwest
one-quarter of Northwest one-quarter
of Northwest one-quarter. Lying in Section
27, Township 37 South, Range 35 East,
Okeechobee County, Florida.
is hereby accepted.
SECTION II: The municipal boundary lines of
the City of Okeechobee are hereby redefined
to include the real property described in
the foregoing SECTION I. A copy of this ordinance
shall be filed for record with the Clerk of
Court of Okeechobee County.
SECTION III: The ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
Introduced for first reading and set for final
hearing this 16th day of December , 1986.

AMENDED PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
COMES NOW the undersigned, JAMES P. GADOURY as agent for JAMES
P. GADOURY and LUCILLE C. GADOURY, his wife, JAMES MAGNUM and
ELAINE MAGNUM, his wife, pursuant to Section 171044, Florida
Statutes, and petitions the City of Okeechobeee for annexation and
would show as follows:
1. THAT the undersigned are the owners of the following
described real property which lies in an unincorporated area of
Okeechobee County and contiguous to the City of Okeechobee:
PARCEL "C": South one-half of Southwest one-quarter
of Northwest one-quarter of Northwest one-quarter.
Lying in Section 27, Township 37 South, Range 35 East,
Okeechobee County, Florida.
2. THAT the above described real property is reasonably
compact and annexation will not result in the creation of any
enclave.
3. THAT the undersigned petitions the City Council of the City
of Okeechobee to adopt a non-emergency ordinance to annex said
property and redefine the boundary lines of the City of Okeechobee
to include the above described property. It is further petitioned
that said ordinance be advertised and passed as provided in
Section 17.044(2), Florida Statutes.
