Conely, Jr., the City Council of Oke~oJ;1obee, Florida met in special session at 7~'0 o'clock, p~ m;'on:,thê abovèc;ate and the. following were present: Thos. W~ Conely, Jr., Mayor, H. H. DeYarmqn, President, Councilman L. )4. Raulerson, F. W. Hampton, Albert Berka and H. O. Adams with R. P. Fletoher, Clerk in attendanôe. Messrs F. E. Henderson, W. W. Dunnioliff, W. E. Holmes and - A. Freedman appeared before the Oounoil and requesteð..r"!hat Oounoil make an appropriation to be used. in removing ,the hyacinth from Taylor Creek and in helping the fre~ght boats to o~me frçm the Lake to the city docks. ~ Motion was made by Councilman ,~pton seconded by Ooun~il~an Adams that Oounoil appropriate t250:bo to be used in remo~ng the .. hyacinth from Taylor Creek and assisting the freight boats. to come from the ~e to the city docks:; Said appropria~ion to "be expended proportionately with other donations received for this purpose. Motion carried. ..
